Our old 7 cu ft Magic Chef chest freezer did not last 3 years and we lost 100 plus pounds of meat due to the compressor. It would have cost more for a service call, labor, and parts than replacing. We have a 1987 Frigidaire chest freezer that still humming along. I found this 7 cu ft upright freezer at our locallly owner appliance dealer who only carries the best in appliances. I also purchased the affordable extended warranty package.

After a couple months of use, this freezer has been extremely efficient and so far totally frost-free in a hot garage environment here in Georgia. The shelves make organizing so convenient compared to the top-loading garage freezers of yore. What™™s particularly notable about this freezer is the seal™¦it™™s extremely tight sealing to the point where you almost need two hands to open the door. Having this very tight seal no doubt contributes to its energy efficiency and lack of frost build-up. Could not be happier with this garage freezer!

We love the freezer--we previously had a chest freezer and kept losing track of things in there. The upright is perfect. There is plenty of room in this freezer, it keeps things VERY frozen and it has a super tight seal. So far, so good. It is perfect for us.

If you are tired of digging through your chest freezer this is a perfect size upright. I can keep everything organized by date on shelves with not wondering what is actually buried at the bottom of our freezer. Really love this freezer. Seal is super strong too!

I would highly recommend this Frigidaire upright freezer for the following reasons. One, its compact exterior appearance surprises and delights with a spacious interior. The 5 shelves make for 6 large compartments. Two, because there are sizeable sections for storage, the freezer allows for everything to be visible. Being able to see what™™s on each shelf is such a huge benefit. Lastly, the seal on the door is quite strong. You definitely don™™t have to worry about it going ajar and losing its frigid temperature. We are so grateful to finally have an extra freezer that fits nicely in our garage. Five out of five stars!

This freezer is the perfect size for handling our overflow! I didn™™t need a full-sized deep freezer, but I was constantly playing freezer Tetris with our main one™"and this solved the problem. I have a smaller fridge in the garage, and this freezer is the ideal complement. It™™s compact enough to fit in tight spaces but holds a surprising amount of food.One thing to note: it can be a bit tricky to open at times™"possibly due to the temperature difference in the garage causing the seal to tighten. Occasionally I have to break the suction to get the door open, but it™™s a minor inconvenience. Overall, if you™™re looking for an efficient, space-saving freezer to supplement your main fridge, I definitely recommend this one.

Nice compact size freezer, but due to my family size I would have preferred it to be larger & come with pull out drawers. The glass shelves make me feel uneasy but they seem sturdy. This freezer is a great addition to my chest style freezer and I wanted a stand up freezer because I didn™™t like the idea of having to continue to bend over and look for the contents, but I wouldn™™t recommend this be your only deep freezer with a large family.

This is such a cute, compact freezer if you don™™t need a huge one or don™™t have a lot of space to work with. It™™s approximately the size of two stacked dorm refrigerators. It does not have shelves on the door or overhead lights but it will still hold a lot. There are multiple adjustable shelves to accommodate different size items. It also has a good depth to it. I like that it is small enough to fit under a shelf or that you could store something on top and easily get it off. It™™s also garage ready and able to withstand the more extreme temps.

This freezer is compact but holds a good amount of things! I decided to use this as our meat freezer and I was able to fully stock it with costco size portions of meats from our other two regular size freezers. It runs very quietly and is adjustable. I do wish there was a light in the freezer but its overall great quality!

We™™d been searching for the perfect freezer for our garage after our last one stopped working, and this one was exactly what we needed. It™™s the ideal size for our space, compact on the outside but surprisingly spacious inside. I especially appreciate that it™™s garage-ready and built to handle fluctuating temperatures. The reversible door was another great feature, giving us flexibility in placement by allowing us to switch the door orientation if needed.

We are really enjoying our new freezer. It has been in our garage with fluctuating temps for two weeks now and I haven™™t noticed any frost buildup. The door closes tightly. My ONLY hesitation in giving 5 stars is the lack of an interior light. Other than that, we are very pleased!

I am very impressed with this freezer. It's a great size for someone who is space conscious, say a single car garage in an apartment or townhouse. The adjustable shelves make it very versatile for size of items you are freezing, much better than my older commercial fixed shelf freezer where you have to lay down taller items. This little unit is well built and seals to the point you have to use two hands to open it, no air is getting in this freezer. Should stay frost free for some time. Very happy so far and look forward to good use for years to come. A good friend at Electrolux recommended this newer lineup for them and so glad she did!
